Kripalaya Dance Academy is proud to be part of the prestigious Tulsa Opera’s grand production, “The Pearl Fishers”. The pearl fishers will be this year’s extravagant season opener from Tulsa Opera at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The show will be in the large Chapman Music Hall on the 21st and 23rd of October 2016. Tulsa Opera has strived to be different and step out of the box this year in showcasing this unique production. Hence for the first time, the show will feature Indian Classical Dancers.
Kripalaya’s Artistic Director Priya Raju and her students will be performing in the show. Kripalaya is proud to share our Indian Culture and Dance on this grand stage and is thankful to Tulsa Opera for this great opportunity. Priya Raju is also the Associate Choreographer for this production. The show features well renowned Maestro Emmanuel Plasson as the conductor and is directed and choreographed by Denni Sayers.
